    Geoffrey Ullerich is a musician and composer living in San Francisco.

    With 10+ years experience as a professional musician playing the piano, organ, and saxophone, he is able to sight-read and improvise, accompany various types and sizes of ensembles, and perform as a soloist or as part of any ensemble. Due to his extensive musical training, he possesses the ability to educate individuals in the field of music theory, and is an experienced and effective piano instructor.

    Along with his performance capabilities, Geoffrey is deft using various software applications to compose, mix, orchestrate, arrange and record music for any purpose. He is especially proficient composing original music intended to support and interact with visual media, a field in which he has collaborated with multiple directors, producers, editors and animators.     In addition to being an instructor and staff member at Scherzo, Geoffrey is also a church musician at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland. He holds a BA in Music Production from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA, and an MFA in Music Scoring for Visual Media from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
